I love them! I love them! I love them!

We had a wonderful day today. I think only three people had to change their cards to a warning all day long. That is simply amazing! Usually that many cards are changed by 9:30am (a half hour after school starts)

I gave them each a note card in science and they recieved star stickers for being on task, working well with their groups, and being good listeners. Whoever has the most stars gets to be my science helper in the next lesson. And they were little saints! Only one group argued out of 5 groups. You have to understand that is amazing! I pray that this continues to work for science and that they don't get tired of it.

I taught my first real planned out math lesson today with an audience. A parent has volunteered to come in all day every Wednesday to help out. My mentor teacher, Wendy and I are so excited to have someone to grade papers, orangize things, set up art projects, it will be great!

I can't wait to be in the classroom all week long to get a little more regularity to the schedule for me, Wendy, and the students' sake. This doesn't happen until mid-March but seeing how fast the past few weeks have flown, mid-March should come in not time.

I have two more weeks of classes and so the homework load has increased and is more stressful but I keep myself looking at the goal, in two weeks I know it will all be over, all my assignments turned in and the I'll have only 10 more weeks till graduation!
