I have to brag...
So I have been trying to soak up every minute with my students these last few weeks, knowing that the school year is drawing to a close. (Before I go on, you should know that my students are wonderful and I will miss them so much this summer, I'm sad school is almost over.) 6 year-olds don't always get things that have to do with time, so it just sunk in on Thursday that we only had 2 more days together in the classroom and then one day at the park before the summer. Instead of celebrating they burst out with protests because I wouldn't be their teacher any more! They spend the rest of the day periodically bursting out with, "I will miss you!" and "You won't be our teacher any more!" etc. and giving me hugs. I love these children, how could you not? It is the perfect response that every teacher wants to hear.

Aww, that's cute!! See you taught them well and they did finally realize their time was drawing to a close. On another note you could re-name your blog The Southenders. I know we still live in the south end and I think alot of your readers fall into that category too, but it was a thought. :)
Way to go Mrs. Kvale. I was thinking this past week how reassuring kids can be, which is just what we teachers and parents need. I say that not to imply that you are not otherwise a good teacher, but to simply state how sweet little children are.
Just goes to show how amazing you are. Happy last "school" day today, and enjoy the park day tomorrow! As much as I know you'll miss them, it'll be good for you to get a break and re-group.
Happy last day of school! We prayed for you this morning.
