We got the keys yesterday afternoon and 15 min. later ripped into the kitchen. Here's our little house.
I will have to post pics of the day's destruction. My proud moment was last night when the bruises started to appear on my palms. I ripped linoleum with a crowbar most of the day. (I found 9 diff. kinds of linoleum over the once beautiful original fir floors that sadly are not able to be salvaged. Some of them are awesome, I'll post the pics.) After about 6 hours my hand was getting sore and after dinner at the in-laws I headed home and Hans headed back for more demo. I felt a little lame just going home. But was redeemed when I saw my swelling and greying palm.
Today we are heading back for more.

Whoo hoo! Way to go Hil. Don't hurt yourself too much though. I can't really see the picture, it's a little small. But I'm sure it's going to be cute!
Yea Hans'!!
We drove past your house this past week. I LOVE your front porch!! What an exciting time for you guys. If you need a break or to borrow any tools, we are close, though not quite as close as your in-laws.
I am so excited for you both Hilary and Hans! Great job and you have your own remodeler, what a deal :) It is nice you can work together on it, it will feel truly like your own home when you put your heart into it that way. Can't blow up your pic to get a look but it looks very nice.
