Not Enough Hours in a Day

I have decided there are not enough hours in the day to... make dinner, make awards for my wonderful students, clean Stewart Heights, make dinner, keep up on the dishes, sleep, keep up on friends/family birthdays, grocery shop, read my friends' blogs, babysit my niece and nephew when my sister-in-law calls, do report cards, plan promotion Sunday, make water exercise workouts, work on the house, etc.   I know a lot of women who are super woman, but let's face it, that's just not me.

Last Saturday I was tired and feeling like I had got nothing done all week and had so much to do still when I realized... I worked 45 clocked in hours at Springfield and MPT, not to mention lesson plans etc.,  I had done 3 loads of laundry, 2 loads of dishes, one HUGE grocery trip, 9 hours working on the house, about 2.5 hours hanging out with friends, packed 10 boxes and moved them to the house, etc.

I know everyone's lives get busy so my question is, How/why do we let life get this busy?  Quite honestly I don't know how I got to this point juggling about 10 things?  It is a slippery slope indeed.

More like a slip'n'slide, you know where at the end you're supposed to stop at the little bumper, but instead do a face plant in the mucky grass/mud? Yeah, we've all been there. But summer is coming and you'll have a little relief.
I'll pray for you. :)
